Hi guys,I recently posted on buying a used M-Audio Torq Xponent that came with no cables nor software. I connected everything and the controller turns on however, i have Virtual DJ as of now as a software however am not able to connected due to the fact i don't have the pro version and also researched that the new m-audio xponent softwares are not compatible with macs or windows 7+. I was wondering is there another way to get my controller connected besides getting the pro version to virtual dj? Thank you.Regards.

Drivers & Software Updates Search. Do you have the latest drivers for your device? Our engineering team is constantly adding, updating and improving our drivers to ensure optimal performance.
Torq has been discontinued and all official download links are gone from what I can tell. Only download I could find was this (and I'm not even sure if that version will work with your controller.VDJ Home doesn't support controllers so unless you feel like paying $299 for the Pro version you can forget about it.

There's also Traktor, but it's still $99.As far as free software is concerned, your best bet is probably Mixxx (It supports your controller, but you'll have to follow these simple steps (to get the LEDs working with it.Hope this helps. I have the same problem. My old controller is an xponent. Since then I've upgraded to an NS7 and love it, but I figured I'd donate the xponent to the theatre I work at so I can keep it in the sound booth and use it occasionally there.
Unfortunately ran into the same problem - Torq is no longer supported. M-Audio offered a free upgrade code to get it working with their newer software (forget the name off hand) however that requires you to have the serial number from Torq, which is on the CD sleeve. My disc is long gone. So I called M-Audio support hoping I could give them the serial number of my xponent (which I purchased legitimately, first owner). But their support is next to useless. Got transferred around lots of times, promised callbacks that never happened.
I just gave up because I already put more time into it than the xponent is even worth. Thanks for the tip on mixxx. I may try setting it up that way. Not buying any more M-Audio products after this Xperience.
